Kari Anscomb has a
BFA in Dance from the University of Minnesota. She has studied at the
Minnesota Ballet in Duluth, the Bates Dance Festival in Maine, Tisch
School of Arts at NYU and was a summer scholarship student at Zenon.
Last spring she collaborated with fellow No Pants Dancers Adrienne and
Amy to produce Welcome to the Estrodome at the Bryant-Lake Bowl.
Kari can often be seen dancing with Amy Sackett and electronic musician
CZR at First Avenue and the 7th Street Entry.
Adrienne English began her dance training in Los Angeles where
she studied under members of the Sadlers Wells/Royal Ballet Company.
She attended CalArts where she studied modern dance with members of
the Alvin Ailey and Bella Lewitzky companies. After moving to Minneapolis,
Adrienne studied and performed in the Zenon scholarship program. She
spent one season as an understudy/apprentice in Beth Corning Dances
and Company and three seasons as a member of Kusanovich Dance Theater.
Last spring she produced her own dance concert, Cold and Bored: An
Evening of Shameless Escapism and co-produced Welcome to the
Estrodome at the Bryant-Lake Bowl. She is currently on maternity
leave from John Munger's Third Rabbit Ensemble.
Amy Sackett also has a BFA in Dance from the University of Minnesota.
Through the dance program she had the privilege of working with guest
artists Scott Rink, Zvi Gotheiner, Bebe Miller, Neil Greenberg and Carl
Flink (to name a few). Last summer she spent five weeks in New York
studying at Tisch School of the Arts and taking classes around the city.
Locally, she has shown her work at Balls, Patrick's Cabaret and
Welcome to the Estrodome at The Bryant-Lake Bowl. Recently she
has danced for the Minneapolis Institute for the Arts and modeled for
Diva Las Vegas. Currently, she choreographs and performs dances
for electronic musician CZR at First Avenue and the Seventh Street Entry.
Occasionally she go-go dances at The Quest, just for kicks.
